To me this picture shows how Jesus in incorporated and the center of our reasoning and understanding in American politics. It looks like he is in the fabric of the stripes from the flag. He was really the first outspoken voice for change towards power for the people. He truly did is the inspiration to all politicians who go around preaching their policy to the people and tell them they will be better off if they follow him.
I posted this picture because Jesus was considered political as well as religious. Very little distinction was made between the two areas. Even today, Jesus is incorporated into the American political & nationalism image.
